A new ISGAN Annex VI workshop titled “Capturing flexibility from local energy systems” is being organized in collaboration with the Canadian representatives. The topic to be discussed is the role distributed energy resources (loads, storage devices, and small generation) will have in a deeply decarbonized, next generation smart grid.
The SmartNet and FlexPlan Horizon2020 projects are jointly participating in the workshop:
- by putting available the pre-recorded presentation “Why getting flexibility from distribution grids? Possible solutions and regulatory issues”, to be watched in the ISGAN YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFjqT_gTJpo&list=PLVQFc2zOj3J9suoD5YJOtTawGWaJnX9QF&index=10)
- by taking part in a live 2-hour online discussion on January 13, 2021 14:00 – 16:30 CET for Q&A session amongst speakers and participants as well as an open group discussion for drafting the outline of a whitepaper that highlights the potential and encourages future study and implementation. Registration for the on-line discussion at the Internet ink: https://fr.surveymonkey.com/r/ISGAN-registration-form
