The Horizon2020 project INTERPRETER (https://www.interpreter-h2020.eu/) is putting up a modular grid management solution for an optimal design, planning, operation and maintenance of the electricity grid with a special focus on the distribution network.
INTERPRETER organized a new ISGAN Academy webinar with the name “INTERPRETER – Flexibility needs at system level” aimed at providing an introduction to the flexibility solutions that can be used to increase efficiency in power systems. This webinar took place on 6th November 2020.
The two EU projects FlexPlan and CoordiNet were highlighted as examples of RD&I projects where flexibility solutions are being developed to change the power system landscape. For this reason, the FlexPlan project coordinator Gianluigi Migliavacca (RSE) was invited to provide a 15-minutes lecture showing the main highlights of the project. During this event, he showed a few new modeling details of the project.
The event obtained a good participation level and the different project were involved in a 15 minutes Q&A session.
